In an effort to advance its strategic and centralized company-wide Volunteerism Program, a leading oil company has engaged AccountAbility to manage its initial two-part pilot in order to assess the opportunities and challenges of large-scale volunteering programs and outline a high level implementation plan for the official program. AccountAbility’s tasks also include assigning a “Volunteerism Champion” to oversee recruitment for and management of the Program; engaging staff members responsible for and experienced in coordinating volunteers; and coordinating activities with 3rd party vendors in the creation of an online platform to manage and track employee volunteering efforts.
