AccountAbility Certified Training for CSAP

AccountAbility has developed a five-day training programme to support application of the AA1000 Series of Standards. Training covers all aspects of the AA1000 Series and meets the requirements of the Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (CSAP) qualification.

The programme is designed to build knowledge and skills in best practice corporate responsibility tools and standards; gain a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting, assurance processes; and learn how to apply AA1000 principles and reporting guidelines.

The training course fulfils the requirements for the trainee to become an Associate Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (CSAP), and contributes towards the requirements to become a CSAP Practitioner or CSAP Lead Practitioner. It is also useful for anyone, at any stage of their career with professional intrest in sustainability.

The training course has five modules:

Day 1 (Module A): Introduction to Corporate Responsibility and Accountability
Day 2 (Module B): Stakeholder Engagement and Materiality
Day 3 (Module C): Sustainability Reporting, including GRI G3
Day 4 (Module D): Introduction to Sustainability Assurance using the AA1000AS
Day 5 (Module E): The practice of Sustainability Assurance using the AA1000AS
