Andrew is a Senior Manager with twenty years of experience focused on the advisory and social impact spaces where he supported private and public enterprises in business transformation, product design, investment strategy, and portfolio management.
In his most recent position as a Strategic Fund Advisor at CaHa Capital, he helped build out the company's impact thesis and investment structure that will support companies addressing the challenges facing South Asian youth.
Prior to that, he established an advisory services division at Varthana, a Bengaluru-based company that is leading efforts on education transformation and financial inclusion for affordable private schools in India. He joined Varthana in 2017 as an LGT Impact Fellow and stayed on to lead the build-out of the permanent division as its Director of Advisory Services. LGT Venture Philanthropy's leadership team also selected Andrew to mentor the fellow class of 2019.
At Grant Thornton, Andrew worked as a management consultant in both internal- and external-facing positions. As a member of the company's newly-established Strategy and Transformation office, he created gating criteria for and managed a portfolio of national initiatives. He also led program management and design efforts for clients in sectors including Healthcare, Education, Cybersecurity, Insurance, and Transportation as a member of the company's Global Public Sector division. In this capacity, he supported several initiatives to develop and utilize public-private partnership models across US Federal Government Departments. Also at Grant Thornton, he helped launch the firm's first business resource group supporting LGBTQ+ employees and served as its inaugural National Coordinator.
Andrew earned an MBA with a focus on international corporate strategy from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he was an inaugural recipient of the Georgetown University Community Fellows Award. He also holds a BA in Communication and Philosophy from Tulane University.
