AccountAbility to Lead Certified Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner (CSEP) Training Focused on the GCC Region

NEW YORK, October 20, 2026 – AccountAbility is pleased to announce that its next Certified Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner (CSEP) Training, focused on the GCC region, will take place virtually on November 9–11, 2026.

Stakeholder engagement in the GCC used to be measured by whether it happened at all. Now it is measured by whether it changes decisions and whether organizations can prove it. To help practitioners meet this shift, AccountAbility trains and certifies them as CSEPs.

Training details:

  • ‍Date: November 9–11, 2026
  • Time: 7:00–9:30a.m. ET / 3:00–5:30 p.m. AST
  • Location: Virtual. A Zoom link will be shared upon receipt of payment.

‍

This training will explore trends, case studies, and regulations that are relevant to organizations and practitioners operating in the GCC market. It addresses two key shifts AccountAbility is seeing across the region:

  1. ‍Stakeholders have a more active role indecision-making. Stakeholders, both internal and external, can no longer simply be consulted after decisions are made. They now help organizations to identify material topics, shape strategy, and hold leadership accountable. ‍
  2. The stakeholder landscape is widening. The range of stakeholders organizations must consider is expanding rapidly. It now extends well beyond investors to governments, regulators, employees, local communities, suppliers, and more. Each group brings its own voice, expectations, and influence, which organizations must understand to secure buy-in, manage risks early, and protect their reputations.

These trends are especially pronounced in the GCC region, which makes this training timely. Through three core modules, the CSEP training equips practitioners to apply the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES v3) in practice. Practitioners will leave with the skills to carry out meaningful stakeholder engagement that informs decisions and creates value for their organizations.

Practitioners who complete the training will become part of a global network of professionals capable of delivering stakeholder engagement that is aligned to the international benchmark of the AA1000SES v3.
